‘Tribute Exhibit’ to Debut in Las Vegas in August at Crystals Boutiques

After years of extensive research and detailed planning, exhibition organizers are proud to announce the August opening of ‘Princess Diana: A Tribute Exhibition’. The 10,000 square foot royal exhibit will assume long-term permanent residence in The Shops at Crystals on the Las Vegas Strip. The exhibition has been designed to effortlessly transport visitors into the lives of world-famous royalty through the designer clothes, personal effects and historical artifacts of the ‘people’s princess’ and family and friends. important in his life.

The exhibit is created and produced by SBX Group and SEE Global Entertainment in partnership with Pink Ribbons Crusade, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charity sharing its multimillion-dollar collection of Diana artifacts and memorabilia. the royal family to raise funds to fight breast cancer. Organizers have worked to curate the exhibition from a collection of Diana and British royal memorabilia considered by many to be the most comprehensive in the world – a collection which has taken the internationally renowned charity over 45 years to meet.

Beginning in the ancestral domain of Diana’s family and traveling through her whirlwind introduction and ultimate reimagining of royal life, the exhibition will contain 12 themed rooms anchored in three exceptional collections: “Wedding of the Century”, “Fashion Icon” and ” Gone Too”. In the “Wedding” room, visitors will be transported to one of the most memorable events in the history of the Royal Family – the wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to Prince Charles on July 29, 1981. A life-size recreation of the Princess Diana will be on display. wedding dress – the most famous wedding dress of all time. Intricately created by world-renowned Belgian artist and sculptor Isabelle de Borchgrave, the voluptuous dress was exclusively commissioned by Pink Ribbons Crusade for this exhibition. Her historically authentic and impressive collection has been displayed in some of the world’s most prestigious museums to critical and public acclaim, including creations such as the Jackie Kennedy wedding dress on display at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. Visitors to Las Vegas will also have the honor of seeing de Borchgrave’s recreation of Diana’s bridesmaids’ and groomsmen’s wedding costumes as well as her bridal shoes. An extensive collection of historic wedding artifacts will also be displayed in the “Wedding” room.

In the “Fashion Icon” room, visitors can admire the largest collection on display of Diana’s iconic fashions, including famous designs from her favorite designer Catherine Walker to her good friend Gianni Versace. Nine historic textiles will be featured, including eight well-known evening dresses worn by the fashionable princess at world events and on royal tours.

Additionally, organizers have commissioned exclusive, exquisite 18-inch-tall replicas of the 79 personal dresses that Diana herself pulled from her designer wardrobe to sell at Christie’s Auction in New York to support a few of her favorite charities. This world-famous event took place eight weeks before his death in 1997 and generated over $3.25 million. Created by talented seamstresses around the world, the 79 miniature dresses took more than three years to create. With tiny detailed beading and exacting embroidery, these petite but intricate dresses boast craftsmanship that easily rivals that of well-known brands in Paris and London.

The “Gone Too Soon: A Memorial” room will vividly transport visitors to the incredible week of Diana’s death and funeral. From August 31 to September 7, 1997, the world stood still as people around the world cried. Featuring a stunning recreation of the popular vigil, this room will feature a floral installation and striking Palace gates reproduced at life size.

Beyond these iconic rooms, more carefully curated collections will give patrons further insight into ‘royal life’, including other historic textiles dating from Queen Victoria to Kate Middleton. An audio guide will give visitors an intimate tour of over 500 original and personal items belonging to (or related to) Diana as well as other well-known royals, including Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William and Prince Harry.
