Thomas Markle in hospital after ‘major stroke’ in echo of Meghan’s wedding

Thomas Markle “suffered a severe stroke which caused him to lose his speech” and was transported to an American hospital, we learned.

The 77-year-old suffered a stroke severe enough to affect his speech, according to the Daily Mail.

Meghan Markle’s father was filmed on a stretcher in Mexico wearing a breathing mask in footage posted by gossip site TMZ.

Thomas Markle was due to fly to the UK to join Britons celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

He said he suffered two heart attacks in May 2018, days before Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry, which left him unable to walk her down the aisle.

Samantha Markle says her dad ‘needs a rest’

Samantha Markle, his eldest daughter, told the To post“My dad is recovering in hospital. We ask for the privacy of the family, for his health and well-being. He just needs peace and rest. Good luck. We pray.

“He just needs some rest. It’s a travesty of how much he’s been tortured and how much he’s had to go through thanks to my sister’s contempt for the past few years. It’s unforgivable.”

Thomas Markle was set to join Britain’s GB News for Dan Wootton’s Platinum Jubilee coverage, but the trip appears to be over.

Wootton wrote in his column for the Daily Mail“Days before he was due to fly to London for the first time for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the Duchess of Sussex’s father, Thomas Markle, suffered a severe stroke which left him lose the floor.

“He is currently receiving urgent medical attention at a US hospital.”

His admission to hospital was also confirmed to the UK Press Association news agency by Karl Larsen, the press photographer who co-hosts a YouTube channel with him.

The fall of Meghan and Thomas Markle before the wedding

Thomas Markle was due to accompany Meghan down the aisle of St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018.

However, a few days before her daughter became a princess The Sunday Mail revealed that he staged paparazzi photos for money.

In the aftermath, Thomas Markle said he suffered a heart attack and was admitted to hospital, telling TMZ he was withdrawing from the marriage.

A text Harry sent her has been made public as part of Meghan’s lawsuit against The Sunday Mail.

The May 14 post read: “Tom, Harry again! I really need to talk to you. You don’t need to apologize, we understand the circumstances but ‘going public’ will only make the situation worse.

“If you like Meg and want to fix it, call me, because there are two other options that don’t involve you having to talk to the media, which by the way created this whole situation.

“So please call me so I can explain. Meg and I are not mad, we just need to talk to you. Thank you.”

Meghan later wrote him a message: “Very concerned about your health and safety and have taken every step to protect you but I don’t know what more we can do if you don’t respond…

” Do you need help ? Can we fire the security team? I’m really sorry to hear you’re in hospital but I need you to contact us… Which hospital are you in?

The saga destroyed the relationship between the father and the daughter who apparently did not speak again, although they exchanged letters later in 2018.

Recent Comments by Thomas Markle

It was the Queen’s health rather than his own that concerned Thomas Markle as he appeared glum in his latest video on his YouTube channel.

He said: “The best thing on our agenda is that for the past two days the Queen has been very healthy and smiling and looking fine and very pretty and let’s just say hope that continues.”

Thomas Markle also described his plans to visit Britain: “I decided to go to the Jubilee because some people had invited me to come to the Jubilee and Meghan and Harry had cancelled. They weren’t going. to go.

“I already have my tickets arranged, I’m ready to go and I’m going to go because now they’re coming. God only knows what’s going to happen.

“I don’t think we’ll run into each other, I don’t think we’ll go to the same places. But I’m sure there will be times when there will be stares between me and my daughter and my son-in-law. “

The video also took an unusual turn when Larsen said he visited the neighboring house of Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, and suggested they buy it.
