A wedding guest can’t believe the bride and groom don’t provide food for everyone.
They took to Reddit’s “Wedding Shaming” forum for help. The bride and groom only allow a select group of people to eat at the wedding. Half of the guests will have to leave two hours after the ceremony, then return for the first dance at the reception.

“The wedding is a month away, IDK why they’re getting married (just guessing to live together) and the groom almost kicked his mom out of any planning input because of the arguments he caused,” the poster for Reddit said.
Despite the ongoing family drama, it’s not even close to the real issue of the ceremony.
“They don’t want to pay to feed people,” the poster explained. “There will be a break in the wedding after the ceremony, but before the reception/cutting of the cake. At this time, only those arriving for the wedding/immediate family/and the couple will be served a full dinner.

Meanwhile, the other guests must leave and find their own dinner. If they come back, they can participate in a dessert potluck.
The editors felt that only one word described the wedding: “tacky”.
“The bride and groom in the post are cheap and tacky, I don’t think the gaps are necessarily that bad, especially if the wedding is all day long,” one user commented.
“Feeding only half your guests is cheesy and indicates you can’t afford the wedding you have planned,” another said.
“I’m really shocked that people are throwing any kind of party and not serving any food. Sticky!” someone wrote.
