Say ‘I Boo’ with a ‘Scare-amony’ Halloween Wedding at the Osceola County Clerk and Comptroller’s Office

If you’ve been thinking about saying “I boo” and still haven’t decided where the “fear of love” will be, how about making that special moment happen at Kelvin Soto’s office. , Esq. Osceola Circuit Court Clerk and County Comptroller’s Office?

The Osceola Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s Office will host a spooky celebration of love and marriage at their Halloween Group Wedding Ceremony and Reception on October 31, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in English at 2:00 p.m. in Spanish.

Registration is first come, first served for up to 15 couples and will be open Monday, September 19, 2022 through Thursday, October 27, 2022. Couples must purchase their marriage license from the Osceola County Clerk. See the information listed above for details regarding marriage licenses.

Two additional guests per party are permitted. Children under 12 must be supervised by an unmarried adult.

The couples will be married in a secular group ceremony by an assistant clerk in the courtroom of the historic courthouse’s courtroom. The guests will be seated on the benches. Detailed instructions on how to conduct the ceremony will be provided upon check-in on the wedding day.

Fee is $50.00 paid at time of registration. Event fees are non-refundable. Fees are payable in cash, card or money order. Cards subject to processing fees.

Additional certified copies of the marriage license can be purchased in advance or purchased on site for $3 each, payable in cash or by card. Card payments are subject to processing fees.

It’s a family event. All couples and guests must wear appropriate attire.

The Clerk’s staff is required to identify participants; therefore, no heavy makeup will be allowed. Face masks are permitted if they can be removed for identification purposes.

The couple getting married will need to bring the same ID they used when purchasing the marriage license.
Ceremonies begin at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. sharp. Once the doors are closed, no one will be allowed in until the ceremony is over.

Free daytime parking is available in lot C or the parking garage.

If unforeseen circumstances arise and the couple are no longer able to attend the ceremony, arrangements will be made for an alternate date for a standard wedding ceremony and to receive recorded licenses. Please contact Wedding Services for details.
