A group of Polish photographers have been honored at the 2021 International Drone Photo Awards.
The world’s largest aerial photography and video competition, photographs were chosen in eight categories from tens of thousands of aerial images submitted by photographers from 102 countries around the world.
Krawczyk’s second âhighly recommendedâ piece, Natural Bride, was described by the jury as: âAbstraction combined with the beauty of nature and the fantastic autumn climate.

The first shows a striking image of a newlywed couple lying on the wing of a Polish airliner.
Entitled âPlane in Loveâ, the jury declared: âPlane abandoned and in love on the wing of the plane. Another wedding abstraction combined with a sharp shadow results in a three-dimensional picture.
In the video category, Icelandic MichaÅ ZieliÅski from WrocÅaw was praised for his coverage of when the youngest volcano was one month old. The video titled “Geldingadalur 2021” sees lava spewing out of the volcano and sinking to the side.
The 32-year-old’s second âhighly recommendedâ photograph titled âNatural Brideâ has been described as: âThe power of nature! Used fallen tree. Lake, tree and an extremely courageous bride. Abstraction combined with the beauty of nature and the fantastic autumn climate.
In the Nature category, Jan Ulicki was congratulated for his âRapeseed Poodleâ.
BartÅomiej Jureck, 36 years old from Zakopane, was âcongratulatedâ for his photo titled âTraditional Polish Redykâ which appeared in the âUrbanâ category of the competition. Taken directly from above, the stunning image shows a shepherd leading his flock through a village. Redyk is when a shepherd takes his sheep down from a mountain and passes through his local village.
BartÅomiej Jureck, 36 years old from Zakopane, was ârecommendedâ for his shot titled âTraditional Polish Redykâ which appeared in the âUrbanâ category of the competition. Taken directly from above, the stunning image shows a shepherd leading his flock through a village.

The artist is professionally called “Misha Martin” and takes photos of wildlife as well as stunning drone footage.
Finally, in the Nature category, Jan Ulicki was congratulated for his âRapeseed Poodleâ. The photographer, originally from Krakow, has previously been featured by TFN for his work capturing a group of uniquely shaped trees.
