Stars and gamblers alike flocked to Flemington for the race that stops a nation in various iterations of the feminine shade of sherbet, with statuesque model Olivia Molly Rogers leading the way in a bodycon neck dress.

Incentivize was considered the frontrunner ahead of the 3,200m race, but Verry Elleegant passed his rival on the home stretch to claim a surprising victory.
