Jn Valentine’s Day weekend, The Heritage Society is taking a step towards making weddings both memorable and seamless – with historic Houston. St. John’s Church. This is the special venue for a special wedding hosted by The Heritage Society where couples can purchase a pre-planned ceremony for just $250. This wedding ceremony has an estimated value of $3,000 and includes everything an engaged couple could need: an officiant, musicians, a floral bouquet, a champagne toast with pastries and a photographer.

“Why is the Heritage Society offering a $3,000 wedding ceremony for only $250? rhetorically asks the CEO of the Heritage Society, Alison Bell. “We promote heritage and tradition and it all starts with a celebration of building lives together.

The historic St. John’s Church, 1891, on the grounds of the Heritage Society in Sam Houston Park, makes marriage dreams come true for couples.

No wedding planner needed if you decide to get married this weekend at St. John’s Church, a venue that dates back to 1891. The $250 wedding package is only available from Friday, February 11 through Monday February 14 and wedding reservations are in high demand. Last year, The Heritage Society made history at Sam Houston Park by hosting a total of 29 wedding ceremonies this Valentine’s Day weekend 2021.

This set a record for weddings on the site in such a short time. More than 100 couples lined up behind the 29 bride and groom – a testament to the drawing power of this unique nuptial opportunity.

Not only was it historical numerically but also atmospherically. All weddings will take place regardless of weather conditions. Even the Texas freeze this past Valentine’s Day weekend couldn’t put a pause on every happy couple’s ceremonies.

With The Heritage Society taking care of every detail, the only thing couples need to do before their ceremony is apply for a marriage license. For one lucky couple, even the $250 Heritage Society fee will be covered. Couples can participate in a giveaway this week that will award a free wedding ceremony to one lucky couple.

The winners of this wedding package will be announced on Friday, February 11 at 11 a.m. The lucky couple will be awarded an all-expenses-paid wedding ceremony on Monday, February 14. An announcement of the competition results will be made on the Heritage Society’s Instagram and Facebook pages. (Additionally, winners will be notified by email.)
